Do you have a passion for fostering language development among students? rTriibe is on the hunt for an enthusiastic EAL Teaching Assistant to support students with English as an Additional Language in Huddersfield! If you’re ready to utilise your TESL/TEFL/CELTA credentials, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support secondary age students in their English language development, helping them to thrive in the classroom environment.
• Provide targeted assistance to students with EAL or ALN, ensuring their educational progress and language skills are enhanced.
• Work closely with teaching staff to adapt lesson materials and ensure inclusion in classroom activities.
• Foster a positive learning atmosphere, encouraging students to build confidence in their English proficiency.
Qualifications and Experience:
• TESL/TEFL/CELTA qualification or equivalent.
• Experience working with secondary age students with EAL or ALN needs.
• A deep understanding of EAL needs and the ability to make a real impact in the classroom.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
