Join rTriibe as a Learning Support Assistant in Huddersfield and provide essential support to pupils who need an extra hand on their school journey. As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll help bring learning to life, supporting children academically and socially and ensuring they reach their full potential.
About the Role:
Your role as a Learning Support Assistant will be varied and rewarding. Responsibilities include:
• Assisting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in both classroom and social settings
• Managing and supporting positive classroom behaviour
• Engaging with pupils during activities, including social events and school outings
• Providing support to teachers with lesson planning, administrative tasks, and resource preparation
• Offering encouragement and guidance to foster pupils’ academic growth and social development
Qualifications and Skills:
• Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent)
• Previous experience with SEND is highly desirable
• Fluency in English, with excellent communication skills
• Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
