Are you passionate about supporting young learners and making a positive impact on their education? rTriibe is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join our team and help shape the futures of children in need of extra care and support. Based in a vibrant educational setting, your role will involve encouraging and assisting pupils with their schoolwork, supporting those who require additional attention, and engaging them in exciting social activities, outings, and sports events.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to pupils, helping them complete their schoolwork and engage in learning activities.
• Assist children with additional needs, ensuring they receive the attention and care they require.
• Support pupils during social activities, outings, and sports events, encouraging their participation.
• Collaborate with teachers in planning, preparing, and delivering educational activities.
• Help manage classroom behavior, ensuring a productive and positive learning environment.
• Supervise children during breaks and assist with maintaining a tidy and safe classroom environment.
• Handle important administrative tasks, tracking student progress and achievements.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent).
• Experience working with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) children is highly valued.
• Strong communication skills, both spoken and written, to interact effectively with students and staff.
• Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to apply and register on the Update Service).
