Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners? rTriibe is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our dynamic team. You’ll play a pivotal role in supporting pupils with their schoolwork, managing the physical needs of vulnerable children, and inspiring their academic success. If you’re experienced in supporting children with SEND and have the drive to motivate and uplift, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
• Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging learning activities tailored to the needs of students.
• Support pupils with SEND both academically and physically, ensuring they are able to participate fully in lessons and school life.
• Manage classroom behavior and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Supervise students during social activities, outings, and break times.
• Prepare materials and equipment for lessons, and ensure the classroom is organized and ready for the next activity.
• Provide individual support to students to ensure they meet their learning targets and feel confident in their abilities.
Qualifications:
• Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent).
• Experience supporting children with SEND, particularly those with physical, emotional, or behavioral needs.
• Fluency in English and strong communication skills.
• Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children in the classroom.
Availability:
Full-time, Monday to Friday.
