Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners with special needs? rTriibe is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support primary students in Burnley. If you possess a SEND Diploma and experience in UK classrooms, we want you to join our dynamic team dedicated to excellence in education!
Key Responsibilities:
• Support primary students (EYFS to KS2) with special educational needs on a one-on-one or small group basis.
• Work closely with classroom teachers to implement tailored learning plans that meet individual educational needs.
• Provide assistance to children with conditions such as Autism, ADHD, and various other learning disabilities.
• Help create an inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
• Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their growth and development both academically and socially.
Qualifications and Experience:
• SEND Diploma or equivalent qualification in Special Educational Needs.
• Experience working in UK classrooms, supporting students with a range of special needs.
• A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Strong understanding of Autism, ADHD, and other learning difficulties.
• A proactive, compassionate, and patient approach to supporting students.
