Are you passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? We are looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our team in Warwickshire. About the Role:
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEND, ensuring they have the tools and encouragement needed to succeed in the classroom.
• Work closely with class teachers to adapt lessons and activities to meet the specific needs of each student.
• Support students’ personal, social, and emotional development, promoting independence and confidence.
• Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Help with the preparation of learning resources and activities to enhance students’ engagement and understanding.
• Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents to help shape future support strategies.
• Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that supports all students’ learning needs.
Requirements:
• Experience working with students with SEND (preferably in a school setting)
• Strong communication skills to effectively support students and collaborate with colleagues
• Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting diverse learning needs
• A flexible, team-oriented mindset to work alongside teachers and other professionals
• Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
