We are seeking dynamic individuals with secondary school experience to bring their expertise to a rewarding role, whether full-time or at least three days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support students in the classroom, helping them engage with their learning and thrive academically.
• Implement Team Teach strategies to manage classroom behavior effectively and create a positive environment for all students.
• Work closely with teachers to plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including record-keeping and monitoring student progress.
• Supervise students during breaks and support them during school activities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (or equivalent).
• Team Teach training is essential for this role.
• Previous secondary school experience, particularly in supporting students in the classroom.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
• A proactive and energetic approach to supporting students and managing classroom behavior.
