We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Additional Learning Needs (ALN) Teaching Assistant to support pupils in an inclusive classroom environment and help them reach their full potential.

Role Overview
As an ALN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to provide tailored support to students requiring additional learning assistance. You will help adapt materials, manage behaviour positively, and create a nurturing learning environment that encourages independence and confidence.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with additional learning needs
• Assist teachers in adapting lesson materials and planning activities
• Promote positive behaviour and a supportive classroom environment
• Encourage pupils’ independence, confidence, and engagement in learning
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff
• Uphold safeguarding policies and ensure the well-being of all students

Qualifications & Requirements
• Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
• Experience working with students with special educational needs (beneficial)
• Strong communication, patience, and classroom management skills
• Empathetic, calm, and supportive approach
• Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
• Full-time availability
