We are seeking a full-time Arts and Photography Teacher to join a vibrant and forward-thinking school community in Manchester. The ideal candidate will hold a Ba/BSc (Hons) that includes QTS, or a PGCE with a strong focus on Fine Art, Design, and practical subjects such as drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, textiles, photography, or environmental art. With at least 80 SCQF credit points in these areas, you will have a broad and deep knowledge base to draw from when planning and delivering engaging lessons. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills are essential, ensuring that all students feel safe, motivated, and ready to express themselves creatively.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to create and deliver an exciting curriculum that challenges students to push the boundaries of their creativity. You will foster a supportive environment where students can explore their talents through various artistic media, develop technical proficiency in photography, and build confidence in presenting and critiquing their work. Your passion and enthusiasm will ignite a love for the arts among your students, encouraging them to think critically, work collaboratively, and take pride in their achievements.
