Are you passionate about making a real difference in young people’s lives? rTriibe is seeking an enthusiastic and empathetic Behaviour Mentor to support students in a school based in Salford. This full-time position is ideal for someone who thrives on building strong, positive relationships and can support students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs to help them achieve both academically and personally.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you’ll work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams to support individuals or small groups who may be experiencing behavioural challenges. Your day-to-day will involve de-escalating situations, developing behaviour intervention plans, and providing tailored support that fosters personal growth and emotional resilience. Your presence will serve as a trusted, calm influence, helping pupils engage more effectively with learning and school life. To succeed in this role, you’ll need to have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or be degree-educated, ideally in psychology, education, or a related field. You’ll bring current behaviour management and Prevent awareness training, as well as prior experience working with young people in a school or similar setting. Patience, empathy, strong problem-solving skills, and emotional intelligence are key traits that will allow you to connect with students and support their development effectively.
