We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Mentor to join our team in Manchester. This role involves working closely with pupils to help them develop better norms of behaviour and providing support to those in need.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work with pupils to develop positive behavioural norms and improve their social skills.
• Assist in identifying pupils who require additional support.
• Conduct one-to-one mentoring sessions with identified pupils.
• Implement behaviour management techniques to help manage challenging behaviours.
• Provide emotional support to pupils, building trust and fostering positive relationships.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
• Excellent listening skills, patience, trustworthiness, and empathy.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience working with children or young people with behavioural and emotional needs.
• Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
• Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to apply for one).
