We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Behaviour Mentor to join our team in Oldham. This role involves working with pupils to help them develop better norms of behaviour and providing one-to-one mentoring support for identified students. The successful candidate will assist in identifying pupils who need support and offer guidance to improve their behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work with pupils to develop better behaviour norms.
• Assist in identifying pupils in need of support.
• Conduct one-to-one mentoring sessions with identified pupils.
• Use excellent listening skills, patience, and empathy to support students.
• Apply behaviour management techniques and strategies to assist pupils in managing their behaviour.
Essential Requirements:
• Experience working with children or young people with behavioural and emotional needs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust and rapport.
• Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
• Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to apply for one).
• Full-time or part-time availability, Monday to Friday.
