Job Description
Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them overcome challenges? rTriibe is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Mentor in Rhyl to work with pupils who need additional guidance with their behavioural, social, and emotional development.
This rewarding role involves working one-to-one and in small groups to provide meaningful mentoring sessions, build positive relationships, and support pupils in developing confidence, resilience, and improved behaviour.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide tailored 1:1 mentoring and small group sessions for pupils with behavioural and emotional needs.
• Implement effective behaviour management strategies in line with school policies.
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to identify pupils requiring support.
• Encourage positive behaviour, social skills, and emotional regulation.
• Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and provide feedback to staff.
• Ensure safeguarding and pupil wellbeing remain a top priority.

Must-Have Qualifications & Skills
• Previous experience working with children or young people with behavioural and/or emotional needs.
• Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
• Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and resilience in challenging situations.
• A valid Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
