Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them overcome barriers to learning? We are looking for a Behaviour Mentor in Wigan to work closely with students, providing tailored support to help them thrive in the classroom and beyond.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a crucial role in building positive relationships with students, helping them develop emotional resilience and positive behaviour strategies. You will work one-on-one or in small groups, using your skills to de-escalate challenging situations and promote a safe and productive learning environment.
The ideal candidate will have UK school-based experience, an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one), and a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or a degree in psychology, education, social work, or a related field. Up-to-date Prevent Awareness and Behaviour Management Training is highly desirable. You’ll need strong communication skills, patience, empathy, and problem-solving abilities to succeed in this role.
