Are you a confident and capable individual with UK classroom experience, ready to step into a dynamic secondary school setting? We’re recruiting Cover Supervisors to support students across Key Stages 3 to 5 in Calderdale.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise pupils undertaking pre-prepared lessons during short-term teacher absence
• Ensure pupils stay on task and manage classroom behaviour effectively
• Collect completed work and return it to the appropriate teacher
• Supervise lessons in accordance with school policy and subject specialisms (Maths, Science, English, etc.)
What We’re Looking For:
• Previous UK classroom-based experience (essential)
• Subject specialism in core areas such as Maths, Science or English (preferred)
• A strong and confident presence in the classroom
• Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
• Clear and effective communication skills
• A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
• Willingness to travel to various schools within Calderdale
