Are you a strong and confident personality ready to take charge in the classroom? rTriibe is seeking a Cover Supervisor to join the dynamic educational community in Keighley. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact by supervising students in the absence of their regular teacher, ensuring that lessons run smoothly and students stay engaged.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise students during short-term teacher absences, ensuring they remain on task and engaged.
• Guide students as they work through pre-prepared exercises, maintaining focus and discipline.
• Collect completed work and ensure it is submitted according to school protocols.
• Uphold school policies and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• If you have a subject specialism in maths, science, or English, you can further contribute by providing targeted support during lessons.
• Maintain a positive learning environment and ensure students are working towards the learning objectives.
Requirements:
• Experience in UK secondary classrooms, with the ability to manage a wide range of age groups (up to KS5).
• Classroom and behaviour management skills to keep students focused and motivated.
• Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to apply for one.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and staff alike.
• Willingness to travel and flexibility in adapting to different schools and environments.
