Are you a creative and inspiring Design and Technology Teacher ready to ignite the minds of tomorrow? Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons that captivate and inspire students.
• Teach a broad range of topics, including product design, engineering, and digital technology, across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that fosters creativity and critical thinking.
• Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing feedback to help students reach their full potential.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop resources and enhance the curriculum.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in Design and Technology.
• Foster a passion for design, engineering, and technology, ensuring students understand real-world applications.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities, including after-school clubs or design competitions.
Requirements:
• PGCE or QTS in Design and Technology or a related field.
• Experience teaching Design and Technology at secondary level (KS3, KS4, and KS5).
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject.
• Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (essential).
• A passion for developing students’ creative and technical abilities.
• Ability to engage and inspire young people to reach their full potential.
