Are you a passionate and innovative Design & Technology Teacher looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a dedicated educator to join a dynamic school in Rochdale, inspiring students to think creatively and develop practical skills in Design & Technology.
In this role, you will deliver engaging lessons that cover key areas of product design, engineering, graphics, textiles, and resistant materials. You will help students apply theoretical knowledge to hands-on projects, fostering problem-solving skills, technical understanding, and creativity. Your expertise will equip students with essential skills for the future, encouraging them to explore, experiment, and innovate.
The ideal candidate will have a Ba/BSc (Hons) with QTS, ECT, NQT, or QTLS status, along with a PGCE in Secondary Design & Technology, PGDE, or MDTechEd qualification. You will also have strong classroom and behaviour management skills, ensuring a supportive and structured learning environment. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to obtain one) is required, along with previous UK school-based experience.
