Key Responsibilities:
As a Design Technology Teacher, you will:
• Innovative Teaching: Deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, inspiring creativity and practical skills.
• Curriculum Excellence: Teach a variety of DT disciplines, such as product design, resistant materials, or graphic design.
• Student Development: Support students in developing technical abilities and problem-solving skills.
• Practical Learning: Guide hands-on projects, ensuring safety and excellence in a workshop environment.
• Collaboration: Work with colleagues to create cross-curricular opportunities and foster a cohesive learning experience.

Person Specification:
• Qualifications: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a relevant degree in Design Technology or a related field.
• Skills: Strong classroom management, excellent communication, and a passion for hands-on learning.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with the national curriculum and experience with DT equipment and software.
• Other Requirements: Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
