Design & Technology Technician – Bury

Are you a skilled and enthusiastic Design & Technology Technician looking to support creative learning in a vibrant school environment? We are seeking a full-time D&T Technician to join a dynamic secondary school in Bury, where your expertise will play a key role in inspiring the next generation of designers and makers. Ideally, you will have UK school-based experience or similar, alongside at least GCSEs (A-C) in English, Maths, and a science subject, or a degree-level qualification in a Design-related field. Your solid knowledge and hands-on experience in Design and Technology, including proficiency with 2D and 3D CAD software, will ensure you can support both students and teachers effectively. A good level of competency using IT applications such as Gmail and Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides is essential, as is the ability to meet deadlines and manage a busy workshop environment. Health and safety is a priority, so holding appropriate qualifications like the Design and Technology Association’s “Secondary Core Level Health and Safety” training is highly desirable.
