We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Early Years Class Teacher to join a supportive early years setting in Rochdale. This role involves working with children aged 0–5, including those in Reception Year, to support their development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver stimulating activities that promote children’s knowledge, skills, and understanding
• Motivate and encourage curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning
• Aid the development of children’s personal, social, emotional, language, and physical coordination skills
• Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
• Ensure safeguarding practices are consistently followed
Essential Requirements:
• Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS)
• A sound understanding of the EYFS curriculum
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to adapt to individual needs
• Patience, resourcefulness, and a caring, empathetic approach
• A clear understanding of the needs and feelings of young children
• A valid Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
This role is open to candidates seeking both full-time and part-time hours.
