rTriibe is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join welcoming nursery and early years settings in Birkenhead. This is a fantastic opportunity to support babies and young children during the most important stages of their development, helping to give them the very best start in life.
We are looking for practitioners who are passionate about early childhood education and confident in supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Support the learning and development of children in line with the EYFS
• Plan and deliver engaging age-appropriate activities
• Read stories, encourage early literacy, and support early number skills
• Promote children’s social, emotional, and physical development
• Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
• Support feeding, changing, and supervising meal times
• Observe, assess, and record children’s progress
• Identify and report any safeguarding or welfare concerns
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents and carers
Requirements:
• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (essential)
• Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
• Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework
• A caring, patient, and proactive approach
• Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
• Two references covering the last 24 months
We offer flexible opportunities, both full-time and part-time, Monday to Friday, across a range of supportive settings.
