About the Role
As an Early Years Practitioner, you’ll be central to the social, emotional, and educational development of children up to five years old. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Creating Engaging Learning Experiences: Bring stories, numbers, and new concepts to life through play and exploration.
• Ensuring Safety and Wellbeing: Supervise meal times, manage feeding and changing routines, and uphold a safe and nurturing environment.
• Observing and Supporting Development: Work in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) standards to track each child’s growth and development.
• Building Strong Relationships: Develop positive connections with children, families, and the wider team, fostering an inclusive environment.

Requirements
To excel in this role, you will need:
• A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education or a Nursery Nurses qualification
• Prior experience in an Early Years setting
• Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
• Passion for working with young children, with a focus on safety, care, and education
