Job Title: Exam Invigilators – Colchester
Location: Colchester (Postcode: CO2, CO4)
Pay Rate: £14.17 per hour
Start Date: Immediate Start (as required during exam periods)
Contract Type: Flexible / Part-Time
We are currently recruiting Exam Invigilators to support secondary schools in Colchester (Postcode: CO2, CO4) during the busy exam period.
Role Overview:
As an Exam Invigilator, you will be responsible for ensuring that exams are conducted in accordance with regulatory and school standards. Your role will involve supervising students during exams, distributing and collecting exam papers, and maintaining a calm, controlled exam environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise students during exams in line with school and JCQ guidelines
Ensure exam conditions are upheld and assist with any queries
Distribute, collect, and manage exam materials securely
Report any incidents in line with exam procedures
Requirements:
Confident and strong personality – able to manage a room independently
Must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
Willing to travel to Colchester (Postcode: CO2, CO4) – own transport preferred
Experience in a secondary school setting is advantageous, but not essential
