Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons aligned with the curriculum.

Teach food preparation, cooking techniques, nutrition, and food safety.

Promote healthy eating habits and an understanding of balanced diets.

Ensure students develop essential practical cookery and kitchen safety skills.

Provide hands-on demonstrations and supervise students in food preparation activities.

Assess and monitor student progress through practical and written assessments.

Maintain a safe and hygienic learning environment in compliance with food safety regulations.

Encourage creativity and innovation in cooking through project-based learning.

Organize food-related events, competitions, and extracurricular activities.

Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Food Technology curriculum.

Requirements:
✅ Qualifications: A degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Catering, or a related field.
✅ Teaching Qualification: PGCE, QTS, or equivalent certification.
✅ Experience: Prior experience teaching Food Technology at KS3-KS5 (preferred but not essential).
✅ Knowledge: Strong understanding of nutrition, food hygiene, and culinary techniques.
✅ Skills: Excellent communication, creativity, and classroom management abilities. Rate: £150-220 per day
