Do you have a passion for teaching and inspiring students through the world of food and cooking? rTriibe is seeking a Food Teacher to join our supply teaching team in Stockport, helping schools deliver high-quality culinary education to KS3-KS4 students. This is a fantastic opportunity for teachers looking to make an impact in classrooms while enjoying the flexibility of supply teaching.
Role & Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging and practical lessons in Food Technology to KS3-KS4 students in line with the National Curriculum and GCSE specifications.
• Plan, prepare, and assess lessons that ignite students’ passion for food, cooking, and nutrition.
• Use modern teaching tools, including online resources and video conferencing, to create an interactive learning environment.
• Support classroom management and maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning space.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure continuity of learning and student progress.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with recent classroom experience.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for Food Technology and GCSE exam specifications.
• Experience delivering lessons to KS3-KS4 students.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students while managing classroom dynamics effectively.
• Comfortable using digital tools and online teaching platforms to enhance learning.
