Are you a confident and adaptable individual looking to step into the world of education? We are seeking a General Cover Supervisor to support schools in Bury, ensuring a productive and engaging learning environment across various subjects.
In this role, you will be responsible for supervising classes, delivering pre-prepared lessons, and managing classroom behaviour, allowing students to stay on track with their learning in the absence of their regular teacher. Your strong communication skills, patience, and ability to adapt will be key to maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere.
Ideal candidates will have UK school-based experience, along with 5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A to C) including English and Maths*. While qualifications such as a Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or a PGCE are preferred, they are not required. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one is essential.
