Are you a confident and adaptable individual looking to make a positive impact in schools? rTriibe is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic General Cover Supervisor to support secondary schools across Trafford. This full-time opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young people and is keen to play a key role in maintaining continuity of education in the absence of teaching staff.
As a General Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into classrooms to deliver pre-set lessons across a variety of subjects. Your role is to ensure students remain focused and engaged with their learning while upholding classroom expectations and routines. Whether you’re covering English, Maths, Science or the arts, your flexibility and calm, organised presence will help students stay on track in a structured environment.
Candidates should hold a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), including English and Maths. While formal qualifications such as a Level 2/3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning or a PGCE are not mandatory, they are welcomed. Prior UK-based school experience is important, as are strong communication skills, patience, and a great sense of humour to navigate the day-to-day variety this role offers. Classroom and behaviour management skills are essential.
