Location: Wakefield
Salary: £750 – £1100 per week

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive team. The successful candidate will teach engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering students’ curiosity about the world around them. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to launch their career in a supportive environment.
:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Completion of a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) in Geography or a related subject
• UK classroom experience with a proven track record of effective teaching
• Possession of an Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service or willingness to apply for a new one
• Ability to inspire and motivate students with innovative and inclusive teaching strategies

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Geography lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students
• Assess, monitor, and report on students’ progress, providing timely feedback to support their development
• Engage with the school community and participate in professional development to continually enhance teaching practice
