Are you a committed and capable Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) ready to bring your expertise to a vibrant school setting in Burnley? rTriibe is on the lookout for an experienced HLTA who’s not just a support worker, but a confident classroom leader with a passion for unlocking student potential.
This full-time opportunity offers the chance to work across year groups, deliver interventions, and cover teaching sessions with confidence. You’ll bring with you a Level 4 or 5 Teaching Assistant qualification, the relevant HLTA credentials, and experience working in UK schools or similar settings. Your Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths (or equivalent) and ICT literacy will ensure you’re ready to hit the ground running.
We’re looking for someone who is not only trained in effective learning strategies like literacy, but ideally also has specialist skills such as sign language. You’ll be a natural communicator—trusted by pupils, respected by colleagues, and confident with families. Your creativity, resilience, and proactive attitude will shine through, especially when problem-solving or adapting to evolving classroom needs.
A passion for self-development and up-to-date knowledge of curriculum and teaching practices will be key to thriving in this role. You’ll need an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be happy to apply for one).
