Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for a long-term, full-time role in a primary school? We are seeking a dedicated professional to support KS1 and KS2 pupils in Bury.
Role Overview:
As an HLTA, you will:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver learning activities to individual pupils, groups, and whole classes
• Assess, record, and report on pupils’ progress in a safe and supportive environment
• Work flexibly across KS1 and KS2 in primary school settings
• Support students with SEN, ensuring inclusivity in learning
• Utilise ICT skills to enhance teaching and learning
• Apply strong safeguarding practices to ensure pupil well-being
What We’re Looking For:
• HLTA qualification (or extensive classroom experience)
• Experience in primary schools
• English and Maths at Level 2 or equivalent
• Strong classroom management and SEN experience
• Must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
• Passionate about working with young people and supporting their development
