This role offers the perfect platform for an HLTA with UK school-based experience to showcase their versatility across different year groups. You’ll support teaching and learning in a meaningful way—leading small groups, stepping into teaching roles when needed, and applying targeted strategies that boost student progress.
To succeed, you’ll need a Level 4 or 5 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent), and a solid foundation in English and Maths at Level 2 or higher. Whether you bring specialist training like sign language or a deep understanding of literacy strategies, you’ll be confident using ICT to support your work and keep pace with current teaching developments.
If you’re a creative problem solver, a great communicator, and someone who naturally builds trust with both students and colleagues, we want to hear from you. You must be available full-time, with an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or happy to obtain one).
