Are you an experienced and motivated educator ready to take on a more independent and impactful role in the classroom? rTriibe is actively seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a dynamic and inclusive school in Salford. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a candidate who is passionate about supporting young learners, confident in leading learning activities, and prepared to step up when needed.
As an HLTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting both pupils and teachers across multiple year groups. You will be expected to deliver lessons, support learning strategies (such as literacy), provide targeted intervention, and assist in planning and evaluating learning outcomes. Your ability to manage a class independently, build positive relationships, and maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement will be essential to the role.
The ideal candidate will possess an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one), alongside demonstrable UK school-based experience. Essential qualifications include Level 4 or 5 Teaching Assistant certification (or equivalent Foundation Degree or HLTA professional qualification) and English and Maths at Level 2 or above. You should also have ICT skills, an understanding of current educational practices, and preferably specialist training in areas such as sign language or curriculum-specific knowledge.
