Are you an experienced and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking to make a real impact in the classroom? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated HLTA in Wigan to support and inspire students while working closely with teachers to enhance learning experiences.
In this role, you’ll lead and support lessons, provide targeted interventions, and work with small groups or individual students to help them reach their full potential. Your ability to motivate and engage learners, alongside strong classroom management skills, will be essential. You’ll also play a key part in developing and delivering curriculum activities, ensuring students receive the best possible education.
The ideal candidate will have UK school-based experience, an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one), and Level 4 or 5 HLTA qualifications or equivalent. Strong literacy and numeracy skills, the ability to use ICT effectively, and experience in multiple year groups are highly desirable.
