Are you a confident and experienced educator ready to take the next step in your support career? rTriibe is seeking an enthusiastic and capable Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a thriving school in Wigan, where your expertise and initiative will make a real difference in the classroom.
In this full-time role, you’ll be more than just support—you’ll be a key part of the teaching team. With your Level 4 or 5 HLTA qualification (or equivalent professional teaching support credentials), you’ll step confidently into leading lessons, supporting learning across year groups, and using your initiative to help drive pupil progress. You should have experience working in multiple year groups, a strong understanding of current teaching practices, and a proactive attitude toward self-development.
You’ll bring Level 2 (or above) English and Maths skills, be well-versed in using ICT, and be confident implementing learning strategies, particularly in areas like literacy. Bonus if you have specialist skills such as sign language or subject-specific expertise! Most importantly, you’ll be someone who inspires trust, works well with both students and staff, and brings creative thinking and problem-solving skills to every challenge.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) is required, along with UK school-based experience or equivalent.
