Are you passionate about History and education? We are looking for a History Cover Supervisor in Bury to support students in their learning and maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment in the absence of their regular teacher.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, maintaining classroom behaviour, and ensuring students remain focused and on track. Your strong knowledge of History, excellent communication skills, and ability to engage with students will be key in making lessons enjoyable and informative.
The ideal candidate will have UK school-based experience, with 5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A to C), including English and Maths*. While qualifications such as a Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, a PGCE, or equivalent are preferred, they are not essential. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or a willingness to obtain one is required.
