Are you tech-savvy with a passion for education? rTriibe is looking for an enthusiastic and organised ICT Cover Supervisor to work full-time in schools across Trafford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and has a solid grasp of Information and Communication Technology, combined with the confidence to manage a classroom environment effectively.
In this role, you’ll be stepping into ICT classes to deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the regular teacher. Your responsibilities will include ensuring students stay on task, supporting their understanding of key ICT topics, and maintaining a calm and productive learning atmosphere. This is the perfect role for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is confident managing groups of secondary students across key stages.
Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of ICT and hold a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), including English and Maths. While formal education-based qualifications such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant certificate or a PGCE are beneficial, they are not required. Previous experience working in a UK school is essential, along with excellent communication, behaviour management skills, and a positive, energetic attitude.
