Key Responsibilities:
As a SEMH Teaching Assistant (TA), you will:
✔ Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
✔ Help manage challenging behavior and support students in their emotional and social development.
✔ Assist with the delivery of tailored lessons, ensuring students are engaged and supported in their learning.
✔ Promote positive behavior and create a safe, supportive environment for students.
✔ Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualized support plans for students.
✔ Support students in building their confidence, self-esteem, and social skills.

Person Specification:
We are looking for candidates who have:
Qualifications: Experience in working with students with SEMH or a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 3 Teaching Assistant).
Skills: Strong communication, empathy, and behavior management skills.
Experience: Experience supporting students with SEMH, or working in an educational or care setting, is desirable.
Requirements: Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
