Are you a passionate and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity in a supportive and inclusive primary school setting?
We are currently recruiting for a committed HLTA to work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in a vibrant school in Bradford. This is a full-time, long-term position, ideal for someone who enjoys working with young learners and has a strong background in SEN and safeguarding.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, prepare and deliver learning activities to individual pupils, small groups and whole classes
• Assess, record and report on pupils’ progress
• Support a safe and positive learning environment for all children
• Collaborate effectively with teachers and school staff to support pupil development
• Implement strong safeguarding and inclusion practices
Candidate Requirements:
• Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification
• Experience working across KS1 and KS2 in primary schools
• Confident delivering lessons and supporting learning across the curriculum
• Strong knowledge of SEN support and safeguarding procedures
• Good ICT skills and the ability to use technology to enhance learning
• English and Maths at Level 2 or equivalent
• Must hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
• Enthusiastic, flexible and committed to supporting pupil achievement
