You’ll be looking after and encouraging students, especially those who need a helping hand with their physical needs, such as hygiene, or require extra support to complete tasks. Your role will also involve supervising pupils during playtimes, supporting them in therapy sessions, and ensuring the classroom runs smoothly by assisting with planning and preparing materials.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need a Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, previous experience supporting children with SEND, and excellent communication skills.
