Key Responsibilities:
• Assist teachers in planning and delivering learning activities for students.
• Support pupils with their schoolwork, helping them overcome academic challenges.
• Assist in managing the physical and emotional needs of students, especially those with SEND.
• Be actively involved in social activities, outings, and sports events, ensuring students’ engagement and safety.
• Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment during playtime, therapy sessions, and classroom activities.
• Help maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent.
• Previous experience in SEND support or similar roles is essential.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
• Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• A relevant degree or further qualifications in education or support work would be beneficial.
