This full-time opportunity, offering a competitive rate of £85.04 and above per day, is perfect for someone eager to support children in reaching their full potential—academically, socially, and emotionally.
The ideal candidate will hold *5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A to C)**, including English and Maths, and possess a Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or a relevant degree. You should have fluent spoken and written English, solid knowledge of the national key stage curriculum, and prior experience supporting children with SEND. Your understanding of how children develop, alongside your patience and enthusiasm, will be key in this role.
As an LSA, you will work closely with teachers and SEN coordinators to support students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, tailoring your approach to meet individual learning needs. Your responsibilities will range from reinforcing lesson content to helping pupils build confidence and social skills. Being organised, attentive, and sensitive to each child’s unique circumstances will make you a valued member of the educational team.
