Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to support students with additional needs in school-based settings and through home-to-school support. This role is ideal for individuals experienced in SEN support who can provide structured, consistent assistance to help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 support to students with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and learning difficulties
Support students at home and during transitions to and from school, where required
Assist students in accessing the curriculum within the classroom environment
Implement strategies outlined in IEPs and behaviour support plans
Promote independence, positive behaviour, and emotional regulation
Support students during arrival, dismissal, and break times
Communicate effectively with teachers, SEN teams, and parents
Maintain confidentiality and follow safeguarding and child protection policies
Requirements
Own valid UAE residence visa (mandatory)
Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant, SEN Teaching Assistant, or similar role
Proven experience supporting children with additional learning or behavioural needs
Strong communication skills in English
Calm, patient, and professional approach
Ability to travel locally for home-to-school support, if required
Desirable
SEN or behaviour management training
Experience in British, IB, or American curriculum schools
First Aid and safeguarding training
Experience supporting students in home-based or community settings
