Job Description
Are you a caring and motivated Learning Support Assistant looking for a rewarding role in Rhyl? rTriibe is seeking enthusiastic individuals to support pupils in primary and secondary school settings, helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
This role is ideal for someone with experience working with children, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). You’ll work closely with teachers, support children in lessons, and ensure all pupils feel included and supported in their school journey.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils who need extra help with learning.
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, and social activities where required.
• Support teachers with lesson planning, classroom activities, and behaviour management.
• Safely supervise pupils during playground time, therapy sessions, and school outings.
• Encourage inclusion, independence, and confidence in every child.
• Uphold safeguarding and child protection policies at all times.

Must-Have Qualifications & Skills
• Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent).
• Previous experience working with children, ideally in an SEND setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to individual learning needs.
• Valid Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
• Fluency in English.
