Are you a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant looking for an opportunity to make a real difference in children’s lives? We are seeking a Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant in Rochdale to provide one-to-one and small group support to students with special educational needs (SEN).
In this role, you will play a vital part in helping students overcome learning barriers, ensuring they feel supported, encouraged, and confident in their education. You will assist teachers with lesson delivery, adapting materials to suit individual learning styles and offering tailored support to students who need extra guidance. Your patience, creativity, and strong communication skills will be essential in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
To be successful, you should have a Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification or equivalent, GCSEs (A-C) in English and Maths*, and UK school-based experience. Strong teamwork, literacy, and numeracy skills are essential, as well as an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
