Are you a compassionate and committed individual with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? rTriibe is seeking a Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Wigan. This full-time role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact every day, working alongside experienced educators to provide tailored support to pupils who need it most.
In this role, you’ll be supporting students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, helping them to access the curriculum, build confidence, and develop their independence. You’ll play a key part in ensuring that each child feels valued and understood, assisting with both academic tasks and emotional development. Your patient, encouraging nature will help to create a safe and supportive learning environment where all students can thrive.
To be considered, you must have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Certificate or equivalent such as RQF – TQUK Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools Level 2. You’ll also need a solid foundation in *English and Maths (GCSE A-C or Functional Skills Level 2)**. Experience in UK schools or similar settings is essential, along with excellent teamwork, communication, and behaviour management skills. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one, is also required.
