Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? rTriibe is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to join our partner schools in Oldham. This is a full-time role offering the chance to work closely with pupils who require additional support, helping them thrive academically, emotionally, and socially.
In this vital position, you’ll provide tailored one-to-one or small group support, adapting resources and strategies to suit individual learning styles. You’ll work alongside teachers and other staff to deliver personalised interventions, track progress, and create a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to reach their potential. Your role will be instrumental in supporting classroom engagement, behaviour, and overall learning outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you should have UK school-based experience and an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one. You must also hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) and have GCSEs in English and Maths (A to C)* or Level 2 Functional Skills. Strong communication, teamwork, and behaviour management skills are essential, as well as an excellent understanding of child development and SEN support strategies.
