In this role, you’ll play a vital part in supporting teachers with classroom delivery and providing focused support to pupils who need it most. You’ll assist with planning, delivering, and assessing learning activities, offering individual or small group guidance, and creating a safe and inclusive learning environment. Your ability to listen actively, remain patient, and adapt to the needs of different students will be key to building trust and promoting academic progress.
To be successful, you must hold a recognised Level 3 qualification, such as the NVQ CACHE Level 3 Teaching Assistant Certificate or the RQF – TQUK Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools Level 3 Certificate. Experience working in UK classrooms and an Enhanced DBS (registered on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one) are essential. We’re looking for someone who is calm under pressure, thrives in a team, and has a strong desire to help children grow both academically and personally.
