As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you’ll be entrusted with greater responsibilities, such as leading small group sessions, delivering targeted interventions, and supporting pupils with varying learning needs. You’ll collaborate closely with teachers and other staff to deliver engaging and effective lessons, and will be an essential presence in maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere.
To be considered, you must hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification—such as an NVQ CACHE Level 3 Certificate or equivalent—and possess strong verbal communication, active listening skills, and a calm, adaptable approach. Prior experience in a UK school setting is preferred, and you must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one. Patience, empathy, and a proactive mindset are key to excelling in this role.
