Key Responsibilities:
Motivate students to exceed expectations and support them with schoolwork.
Encourage communication, assist with instructions, and help boost students’ confidence.
Support pupils by listening to them read, reading to them, and sharing stories to foster a love of literacy.
Caring for vulnerable children, assisting with physical needs and personal hygiene.
Help children complete tasks, assist during social activities, and support sports and outings.
Provide support with PE prep, assisting with therapy sessions and engaging in group activities.
Assist teachers with lesson planning, materials, and keeping accurate records.
Help with administrative duties and ensure classroom materials are organized.
Support classroom behavior management and follow individual care plans.
Supervise playtime, ensuring safety and engagement.
Assist with clearing materials after lessons and maintaining a tidy classroom.
Participate in training sessions and keep up to date with best practices.
Requirements:
Experience in supporting children, particularly those with vulnerabilities or SEND.
Ability to assist with task completion, academic support, and confidence building.
Comfortable working with children’s personal hygiene and physical needs.
Strong communication and listening skills to effectively interact with students.
Enthusiastic and patient approach to working with children of diverse needs.
Ability to assist with PE prep and therapy sessions, helping students feel comfortable and supported.
Previous experience in a school or care setting is preferred. Rate: £85.00 – £100.00 per day
